After nearly five years in the making, Philip Jarmain recently completed American Beauty, a photographic essay that explores the opulent architectural history of the “Paris of the Midwest.”
His exquisite photographs examine the stunning buildings that are scattered throughout Detroit, creating a visual timeline of one of America’s most important series.
