Despite the economic hardships, a new proposal to raise more than $300 million for Sacramento-area science centers, museums, and arts venues is making positive ground.
This would be a significant amount of money for Sacramento, especially with its reputation for being less than generous in fundraising efforts. A few of the projects are set to start production as early as this year and next.
Although each project is a separate endeavor, many people view them as the missing links needed to spur economic growth in the area.
