Since it’s powered by the almighty Google, it’s been found that a hidden algorithm exists which actually boosts your search results, the more active you are on Google+. No one knows exactly how all of this is taken into account, but it’s most likely a combination of +1’s, shares, and general activity that affects the ranking factor.
