Our volunteers are invaluable to us. From help around the office to networking in the community, there are many ways to contribute your talents and time at CALICO. Here are just a few examples:

• Help launch a CALICO Speaker's Bureau by talking with community and civic groups and arranging for our staff to give talks in the community and/or becoming a spokesperson for CALICO.
  
  
• Join CALICO's Fundraising Committee and help plan special events, including an annual fundraising gala and golf event.
  
  
• Help with administrative tasks in the office, including answering phones, filing, data entry.
  
  
• Gather your friends and family for a house party or social hour to learn more about child abuse and how CALICO helps make a difference in children's lives.
  
  
• Share your talents with CALICO by assisting with building maintenance and renovations such as painting, carpeting, plumbing or roof work.
  
  
• Make families feel at home by helping maintain the family waiting area, greeting families when they arrive, and supervising and playing with children as they wait.
