Last week, The Skillman Foundation announced the distribution of 34 new grants throughout the greater Detroit area. Totaling $3.5 million, the funding will be used to strengthen youth education, development, safety, education, and community leadership.
$1.2 million will go towards the Foundation’s request for proposals process, which asked community nonprofits to develop ways to help local youths Achieve, Connect and Thrive.
