Entrepreneurs, make for Michigan.
Entrepreneur just gave Universitt of Michigan the coveted #1 ranking as the top entrepreneurial school in the country. They launched their Master of Entrepreneurship program last year, where it was almost instantly lauded for its top-tier performance.
According to Crains Detroit, the university is also seeking to make entrepreneurial program accessible to all majors. They recently unveiled a plan to develop a campus-wide program for any student enrolled in the university. Associate dean Thomas Zurbuchen will be taking charge of the project.
In an interview with Crains, provost Martha Pollock explained, “We see this role as one that not only knits together the university’s existing resources in entrepreneurship education, but also expands them to offer as many students as possible a chance to develop entrepreneurial skills. This is a step we’re taking for the education of our students, but I see tremendous potential for its effects to ripple through our state and nation.”
